Arkansas Archeological Survey has produced an excellent variety of materials
to aid teachers in their instruction on Arkansas history, prehistory, and Native
Americans. These materials include a teacher's packet with informational flyers
and brochures, books, slide sets, exhibits, a Discovery Box, and more.

Village Youth and Education News - "NATIVE VILLAGE website was created

Teaching Indigenous Languages - Collection of full-text scholarly articles,
bibliographies, and information on the teaching and revitalizing of indigenous
languages. Includes teaching models, details on the status of various American
Indian languages.
Books
Oyate -
Oyate is a Native American organization working to see that American Indian lives
and histories are portrayed honestly. Oyate evaluates texts, resource materials
and fiction by and about Native peoples; conducts teacher workshops, in which
participants learn to evaluate children's material for anti-Indian biases; administrates
a small resource center and library; and distributes children's, young adult,
and teacher books and materials, with an emphasis on writing and illustration
by Native people. You will find a list of recommended and not-recommended books
on this site.
